Rubbing Your Face Dry, Instead of Patting It

You’ve washed your face carefully, taking care to remove your makeup and use a gentle cleanser to remove dirt, oil, and buildup from your skin. Next, it’s time to take a towel and rub your face dry, right? Wrong! If you rub your skin, you could be irritating your face, or causing dark spots. If you use the same towel you used to dry your hands, you could be transferring bacteria back to your face! Carefully pat your face dry with a clean, fresh towel.

Not Removing Your Makeup Completely

Removing your makeup completely needs to be a regular part of your nightly routine, or your skin will pay the price. Makeup left on the skin leads to clogged pores and oil glands, which makes them look unsightly. It also leads to inflammation and acne, which no one wants.
